Over the following years, Dublin purposefully ignores Timothy’s reclusive life of drunkenness and his descent into depression. But when the events of the 1960s begin to take form, the paradigm of Dublin’s life begins to shift, and Timothy makes changes of his own. When their worlds finally clash, Dublin is forced to face the dysfunctions of their family and the false comfort he felt in his life.
